It had been a long time since I'd gone to a gallery and drawn all day so I went along to see a really nice show at The Approach Gallery and then went on to The Museum of Childhood. It turned out to be the best day ever and I ended up with a book full of good things. My favourite finds of the day at The Museum of Childhood were a 'Paper Pottery' kit from 1969, a do-it-yourself flock kit from 1968 and a Minicinex projector from 1977. Children's toys were so much better then. I'd like to lay my hands on any of the above. Meanwhile at The Approach Gallery, I re-discovered the talents of Sonia Delaunay. Nice.
